At Yorkland Homes, we recently completed a 120 sq. ft. master bathroom renovation in Richmond Hill, Ontario. The homeowners initially contacted us to work on their large basement renovation, but after seeing our attention to detail, they trusted us to handle their master bathroom as well.

The Challenge: A Leaky, Outdated Shower

The clients had been struggling with a leaky shower that was long overdue for an upgrade. Rather than simply patch the problem, they decided it was the perfect opportunity to fully transform their master bathroom into a modern, luxurious space.

Expanding the Shower Space

One of the biggest changes we made was expanding the shower area. This allowed us to incorporate a custom bench, adding both comfort and functionality. To give the shower a sleek and open feel, we installed a large custom glass enclosure that perfectly complemented the overall design.

Elegant Tile & Finishing Touches

For the walls and flooring, the clients chose stunning 24×48 large format tiles with elegant gold veins, which gave the bathroom a high-end and timeless look. To match the luxury aesthetic, we installed new double sink quartz countertops, offering both durability and style.

A Fresh New Look

The bathroom was repainted using premium Benjamin Moore paints, which brightened the space and tied together the modern design elements. The result was a space that feels fresh, inviting, and truly custom.

Completed Alongside Their Basement

What made this project unique was that we worked on the master bathroom renovation and the basement renovation simultaneously. By coordinating both projects at the same time, we ensured a seamless experience for the homeowners and minimized disruption to their daily lives.
