Partial Basement Renovation in Holland Landing, Ontario

For this project homeowners had about 300 sq ft of unfinished space left in their basement, and their kids where coming home to stay with them after college. The basement was already finished but did not have a washroom or a kitchenette. after figuring out the exact design and how we would make sure everything fits in the tight space we proceeded with renovation. Time wasn’t on our side as the kids where coming home in about 1 month.

Modern Kitchenette for Extra Convenience

To maximize the space, we installed a modern kitchenette using white IKEA kitchen cabinets. The sleek and minimal design added a fresh and bright look to the area. We topped it off with a stunning quartz countertop, making it not only stylish but also durabl. For the backsplash, we went with classic white subway tile, giving the space a clean finish. To add a touch of warmth and luxury, we installed custom stained oak shelves, and then notched in LED strip lighting creating a perfect blend of modern and rustic charm.

Stylish & Functional 3-Piece Washroom

A key part of the project was adding a 3-piece bathroom so the kids did not have to go upstairs to shower or use the bashroom. We installed a custom glass shower, which opened up the space and added a high-end feel. The 42-inch vanity from Bath Depot provided plenty of storage, while the 24″ x 24″ floor tiles created a seamless and polished look. Every detail was carefully chosen to create a bathroom that is both functional and visually appealing.

In the main area we installed Dricore Subfloors for extra comfort and warmth and on top of that we did a 7mm luxury vinyl plank.
